Joel Lopata serves as Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Vincimus Capital. Prior to joining Vincimus, he worked in the legal division of the FBI's Los Angeles field office and later transitioned to a top-ten global law firm where he conducted white-collar fraud investigations for multiple multi-billion dollar clients in various regulated industries.

Before working at the FBI, Joel worked at a digital marketing startup where he assembled a team that created social media content for top entertainment brands. Throughout his diverse professional experience, he has honed the ability to assess, manage, and mitigate risk in high-pressure situations, and has developed a talent for solving complex problems, whether they be legal, professional, personal, or a combination of all three.

Joel graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine School of Law. He currently resides in Malibu with his family, and serves as an Elder at the Malibu Gathering Church.
